BREWER, Maine (October 11, 2024) – Acadia Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce plans for a new branch opening at 618 Wilson St., Brewer, Maine, in 2025, the former location of Lee Credit Now. This location is strategically positioned to accommodate the growing number of members who live and work in Brewer.
As part of its expansion, Acadia FCU plans to close its Stillwater Ave. branch in Bangor and relocate the team to the new, state-of-the-art facility in Brewer upon completion. This strategic move will enhance convenience, accessibility, and service offerings, all while staying true to Acadia FCU’s mission of delivering personalized financial solutions to the communities it serves. By modernizing its facilities and relocating to a key market, Acadia FCU aims to provide members with an elevated banking experience while maintaining its commitment to community-focused, member-driven service.
“We are deeply focused on growth and are thrilled to take this next step in relocating our Stillwater branch to Brewer,” said Joey Cannan, Executive Vice President of Acadia FCU. “Our new Brewer branch will be a reflection of who we are—modern, member-focused, and committed to providing innovative financial solutions. We’re excited to continue building strong relationships with the communities we serve, while offering members the tools they need to achieve financial success.”
With the planning phase currently underway, construction is expected to begin in early spring with a target opening by the end of 2025.
